Research, user experience, and design for FIS, a leading provider of enterprise banking software. Bank clients are reliant on FIS products to help them compete in a highly dynamic market, but require FIS to invest in a new performance-driven approach that elevates collaboration with bank clients over siloed, institutional product releases.

In-depth research and evaluation sessions with bank clients and their customers across the entire FIS product ecosystem informed a series of prioritized capability workflows — addressing key banker pain-points while establishing a foundational design system. These conceptual workflows focused on delivering purposeful customer interactions by shaping an adaptable brand expression for both FIS and its bank clients.

The designed workflows were also used as entry points to compile a preliminary design language system for FIS — amplifying design at scale by increasing velocity and optimizing efficiency across lines of business. This online platform was complemented by a initial product backlog and a feature roadmap to help streamline future design and development efforts.
